Installation Notes: 1. The mounting bracket can be installed horizontally or vertically, depending on the fixture to which the sun visor is to be installed. Once the position of the mounting bracket is decided, use the bracket as a template to mark the position of the holes on the surface, then pre-drill the holes to insert the plastic anchors.

1. If the bracket is to be installed on solid wood, plastic anchors are not necessary. Plastic anchors are required for other materials, such as concrete or stone. After drilling the holes, insert the plastic anchors until they are level with the surface. Remove the four screws. Rotate the clutch unit 90 degrees so that the clutch eye hangs from the top, and then turn the idle end unit so that the opening faces away from the window.

2. The final step is to install the bungee ropes and ring brackets strapped to the end of the shade. This is used to help secure the shade in windy weather. Mount the bracket in the side position. Ensure that each bracket is at least 6 feet from the top of the shade and can be reached by the bungee rope.
